Hey yall', just a pop in. Rhonda, we found your backpack! It seems the racoons drug it off towards the camp where lonewolf was. Full of stickers!! I have it in the garage. Jamie, all your tools I had went with Dan. It might be a while until I can post cut rock pics. Hubby went off the deep end while I was gone. Nothing new though...........Jamie knows what I am talking about. Going to be rough for awhile. I am going to go it alone! The trip was a spiritual time for me. It reinforced who and what I am. I needed it so bad. It gave me the confidence to believe "enough is enough". I am and will be fine!! Oh, one more note............Jamie, I will be staying in Odessa. Not moving to Arizona again. I cant give up this job again! LOL My friends from the trip can PM me for details. I think most of you know what I am talking about.

There is no way the ranch could get hunted out. Every wind that blows and it blows every day and every time it rains more and more is uncovered. H--l you pick up one and there is another beneath it. The'll be rockhoundiong Woodward in 3007.

Lonewolf: Shoot, we found jasper on all our Woodward trips too. You're first cut rock pic looks very much like Roostertail Agate to me which is commonly found across the border in Mexico probably in much the same type of formations. Roostertail sometimes looks jaspery but is actually very densely packed moss if you look close. I'd call your second pic Flower Garden but not the third ( the fortification with mossy inclusions). Man, looking at that pile in your driveway, I'm impressed. You guys made huge hauls! What a fine and productive trip!.....mel

Maybe Trey was having a "moment'....lol It was after the needle peak trip so possibly he was still reeling from it. I hear it was quite an ordeal. Oh, and that bigger stuff in the back is just creek stuff that Trey gave us. River rock and such. Karol likes it for the flower beds. Can you believe I got a family of four, camping stuff, clothes, food, gear and all those rocks in that caddy....lol

I have a theory about the knapping. They maybe more recent pieces made by indians who trey says come to the ranch for gatherings, they tell him there are powerful spirits in the hills.
I'm glad Isis is feeling better also, give her a hug for me.

Hey, did that mystic have a wife named Hooba? Mark probably never wants to hear that name again. Poor guy came out of the darkness white as a ghost as if he's heard one. Long live Hooba!
Hey Gil, did Burrito get new "chooses"?

Yes he did Stoner. The tire guys told me that they still had a little bit of life left, but towing the trailer for distances like I do, it was best to get them all around. They also said the best tire was the spare that we put on. So I kept that one as the spare again.

Here are a few more examples that I don't think have been posted by someone else yet. The two orange ones are much deeper in color than they appear here and were at the end of some red plume (which I can't find after cutting it) Oh man just realized I left my green plastic cup down there! We all need to go back next week to find it, it is either on the east side over the creek, and to the left about 200 yards, or on the kitchen counter. Lets try the east side first.
