This one is going to be good. That is one beautiful stone! I bet there are some more just like that one from the slabs off the parent stone.

hahaha hey doc i just went through those slabs both sides and not one has the same picture but ill send a slab anyway there all cool lookin you can pick your own sean out
so who ever gets that cabojohn you got a one of a kind also ---ya know its funny every one i have put up for a prize has been a one of a kind pic,, i went back and tried to find a piece like them and there are no matches so thats pretty cool nobody else will ever have the same one

hey doc give me a week or two i just went off and bought all kind of rocks this last week there commin in slow but theres some realy nice jaspers ill cut you some samples --i hope there tasty or im gonna be eatin hotdogs and tuna for the next three weeks hahaha
i know you facet but i dont remember you saying ,, do you make your own cabs? if you do ill send a few cool slabs for you to play with

Sands, I dominantly facet, but I am set up to do cabs also. My forte' is cabochets. I do not consider turquoise to be a cabachon. You can polish turquoise with steel wool and a dry rag. I would love anything you can send. I am going to make a money clip for you from the cabochets you sent. We are swamped right now, so do not hold your breath but I am working on it as I can. You do some daggoned good work with the stones. Imagine, a stone like the one in this thread, with Lapis border. The possibilities are endless. So far, the people who have seen your work are doing backflips. I have encouraged them to join this forum. We shall see. People being what they are, if 1% show up as guests we all will be better off, so will they. They will meet some great folks. Take your time John. We are swamped beyond our expectations, plus.

thats great doc work your butt off for the next month and a half for the holidays and when ya get a break you will have some cool slabs to mess with ----kim just sent me some very cool small pieces of that flashy rock she posted a bit ago and i rough shaped them if i get one to come out good after the holidays can i send it to you for a silver wrap for my daughter it dont matter what it cost its for my little chic hahaha here a pic of them

Wow factor is definately high with those blue pieces. Wow, wow, wow. I couldn't find my dumorite, I do have some pieces of sodalite. Ever do sodalite?
