Talk about jumping in, took me all morning to get the page set up and I still don't have it right ... LOL but I finally got it up there anyway. Wish me luck, I decided this morning if I really want that slab saw, I have to try and get some $$ back on what I've been spending. I put up my first creation, the jasper necklace I made. I'll probably feel bad if it does sell but it'll be encouragement to do more. Here's a link if any of you care to take a look and perhaps give me any suggestions on how I listed it. Jasper Beaded Necklace on eBayOnce again, I'd like to thank all of you who have been so kind and considerate in helping me get this far. Not just to eBay but with everything I've learned here about tumbling. I really appreciate it and want you all to know .. I think your the best!! Cher

i think you are seeling a little low, but then, what do i know. did you price out your beads and findings to see how much went into the necklace? not to mention your time.
anyway, extreme good luck to you!

Thanks for the well wishes. Too low you think KD? I was kind of worried about the fact that I'm pretty new on eBay as far as my feedback goes. I was afraid that might scare people off. I didn't really price out anything, I suppose I should have. I'll have to keep track on the next one and see how much of each goes into it. I figure beading is like doing web pages as far as keeping track of how much time goes into it. That gets far too depressing when you see you're working for about $0.32 cents an hour. I'm too fussy I guess, took me about 4 hours to set that page up but I wanted it to look nice. I just can't figure out where I screwed up by not getting a picture on top. Cher

I just saw that and almost fell over, and there's two people watching it too. I have a sneaking idea that it's one of the gals from the other group I belong to but I'm not 100% sure. If it's the gal I'm thinking of, I hope no one bids against her, I would have given it to her if I knew she'd like it.

Cher, the time you spent on the website was well worth it. Your ebay page is one of the nicest I have seen, Nice background, great pic of the necklace, great description. Your page looks like an old pro did it! Actually, I have seen some old pro eBay webpages and they are not nearly as nice.
Needless to say, the necklace is beautiful. I have no doubt you will get a number of bids on it!

YEA CHER! Great necklace and great page! And the bidding has only begun. See what it goes for at the end. You don't want to start so high no one bids, or so lwow you lose money. Good Luck!

Thanks so much for the compliments and the "good lucks". I got kind of jazzed about it after finally getting the whole page done, now I'm looking for something else I can put up. LOL Just figure after all the work, I could use it for another item, just change the description. I need to get busy and make something!
Cher
PS .. You know, this is worse than waiting for rocks to tumlbe, talk about needing patience!

I forgot to tell you I love the way you laid out the necklace to photograph! Needless to say, I'm gonna steal that idea for the next time I photograph one of mine!

Thanks Llana and I don't blame you, steal away. I redid that about 20 times before I finally got one that I liked.

I think you did a great job!! I love the description, you have most all the key words in there. A lot of visits too. I am inspired. I have been toying with the idea of putting some of my jewelry on e-bay. I've been mostly just selling rocks. You did a fine job. Good luck, and at this point it looks like you will be successful.

Hello Cher,
The most fun you will have on eBay is the last three minutes of the listing.
If you have a bidding war going on ... your item may just 20.00 in the last two or three seconds before it closes! Sometimes it's unreal!
Best of luck!
John

LOL I've been wondering about that, trying to decide if I'm going to watch it or not. Ha, who am I kidding, my first ebay item, I'll be watching it like a hawk probably all morning. Thanks for all the good lucks and well wishes, just the fact that's it's reached this far has me totally amazed.
