Found last night that the router speed control that Doc told us about (for slowing down a grinder's rpms) is on sale. I had checked before Christmas, they were $25.00 and last night I bought mine for $9.99 so if anyone is looking, now's the time. Don't know if this link will work since it's for an item search router speed control but if it doesn't just go to www.harborfreight.com and search for router speed control. Cher

That will work. I would start at full tilt, then slow down for the work needed. It also works with the dremel, an other tools.

Full tilt? I thought the grinder needed to be slowed down to around 1750 rmps? Cher

Hey Cher, I think that doc meant that you should have it turned up to full speed when you turn your eqiupment on, and then lower the speed. Starting up at a reduced voltage can fry your motor.

Cher, Thanks for the tip. At 25 bucks plus shipping, I have put off buying. But, at $10 plus shipping, I should order.
