Hi all, It finally arrived, my order from Kingsley North. I've been in withdrawal, no tumbler, no saw, no findings to create with, and all these beautiful stones to set. Now I not only have bell caps of all shapes and sizes, I have bracelets (for small stone charms) and key chains. Did you know you can get them for .25 each? You can set the stone, put it on the jump ring on the keychain and VIOLA! I just ordered 10 to start, but that sounds like something profitable to me. The bracelets where $2.45 each and are not as intricate. I'M SO HAPPYYY ;D I'm gonna go set somemore stones now. cookie

I know the feeling. I am like that when I get new rough to cut and facet. The feeling is an energy. Have a ball. Create.

I stumbled upon a new epoxy today. It is all black, is machineable and is in Advance Discount Auto Part stores. This epoxy is much stronger than 2 ton, and takes six hours to set. Looks like a winner to me. I am going to try it on a gold Indian Wedding band I made for a person. I have to set black onyx in the ribs. I figuire with the black epoxy and the black onyx, it will look great.

Cookie, those look great! I really like that key chain! Much better than the ones I bought for my Christmas stuff. It was only 25 cents? Sheesh, gotta order me some of those!
I haven't tried bracelet yet. Think I also need to get a couple of those! Have had tons of compliments on the watch I put together, so I bet people would love bracelets!
Lookin' good girlfriend!

yeh, wow, 25 cents? great deal! the ones i got from Fire Mountain were over 5 bucks a pop and that was with quantity discount. mind you, they were pretty decent quality, but that one you are showing Cookie looks not half bad.

Thanks Ron, that would be it. The silver is less than the gold (enter "tone" after each of said metals). Llanna and KD, I have the 2005 catalog now, the First one they sent had NO findings, this one is full of them. Heres the order # for the bracelets: 8-1082w, (or follow with a g instead of w if you want goldtone. I was sooo excited when I got this catalog, it's got all the fun stuff in it!

thanks for the link, Ron. Hey, guess what I got today? One of those Jorgenson clamps! I had been looking for them everywhere with no luck. Then went in Gibsons today and there they were! Should have known if I couldn't find them anywhere else, Gibsons would have them. Weather is suppose to be nice tomorrow and we plan on testing it out!
I gotta get a Kingsley North catalog!
Went to the bead store today. They were having a half price sale on all their gemstone beads! Needless to say, I spent WAAAYYYYY more than I should have, but when you can get 4mm tiger eyes for $3.00 a strand, ya' gotta go for it. I can't even remember what all I got, but I left them with some bare hooks!
She is interested in buying tumbled rocks from me. She needs a new supplier - her tumbled stones look almost worse than my first few batches. Full of pits, cracks, etc. Look kinda like the do-overs I have in 60/90 (again!) right now.
