What is the best way to polish various types of rock slabs, and wood. I would like both sides polished. Thanks Keith

Hi
I have seen some smaller slabs tumble polished. If you have a material with varring hardnesses it will probably undercut in some spots. In this case a flat lap or grinder with abrasive pads would be the route to go.

Hi Keith, I wonder what size your slabs are?
I polished some in my Lot "O" 3/12" x 2"approx
Other wise it would be a Horizontal Lap

I have various sizes I have some Brazilian agate and Montana agate about 2"-3" in diameter about 1/4-3/8'' think. All I have is a 12lb thumblers tumbler that I can use to tumble them.
