Anybody out there getting to Arizona to attend this event? Jan 31-Feb 15th, roughly. I am taking time of work Feb 5th and 6th (Thur & Fri) and going down to get a 14" slab saw and save myself $100 shipping. Jim Bryant from Lortone gave me a contact. I think this is going to be a gas, and if any members of the forum here are going to be down there I'd love to make a rendezvous with them. here is a link... www.tucsonshow.com/show_schedule.shtml

Man! I would love to go. My cousin lives in Tucson and he is always asking me to come and see him. I asked him the last time he was in Indiana if the town gets full of people to see the show and he told me that the place is crawling with damn crazy people! He said who in the hell wants to collect damn rocks! He didn't know that I did. So I had to tell the turd off.

Hi Banjo,
I know I said that I was going this year. And, I still want to go. I found out that my air miles with Alaska aren't worth a darn for flying into Tucson. The only way to get to Tucson with Alaska is too fly from California to Seattle to Tucson. Normally, that wouldn't be all that bad, but with two little ones that is way too much time to sit in a airplane. As you can surmise, my wife wants to make this a family trip!
But, we do have a friend that just moved down to Chandler, AZ. So.... if I can find a cheap flight (probably with Southwest), I/we may still make it down. Hoping really hard!

Laughing my head off at this! Too funny! What kind of people indeed!! Who the hell wants to collect rocks? WE DO, ya' fool!! LOL!
I would love to go to the Tucson show, but unfortunately, I can't make it. Need to start putting some money back so I can go next year.
BE and I are going to a rock and mineral show tomorrow. It ain't Tucson, but I bet we see some neat stuff. It will have to do until I can make it to Tucson

Hello Banjo,
No I am not going to be able to make the trip this year! Talk about missing a great show! Then to miss the Tucson show as well ... it's a major pain in the hind quarter.
Good luck and have a great time!
Maybe next year!
