Jon, are you sure you really want to sell the machine? I have one, and am getting a second. My upcoming Ultratec with all digital mind you is staying home. The Facetron is at the shop and I use it to draw customers into the shop for a look see. I have also found out, the faceter precisely grinds cabochon girdles for precise fittings. If it were me, and getting the faceter is a matter of eating or getting the machine, keep it. I also use my faceter for milling my settings for really precise ring settings. If I had the cash, I would get it. Just to have a third. A man can never have too many faceters. Down here, I can get used faceters from the very retired cutters for 100$, 300$. Keep it. It is very useful for cutting when you do not want to risk the good one. It also makes a good backup machine.

Yep, it might be good for preforming I guess, to save my new Ultra Tec for more precise work, and even cutting cabs (it has a motorized preformer with about 20 different cab templates).
