Was waiting for me in the garage Friday evening- It was the ocean jasper I ordered from The Gem Shop- All I can say was wow- If this is the 2nd and 3rds- I can't imagine what 1st looks like- But here is the problem- Both tumblers have stuff in em and both have a long way to go- I am saving up my CC points for another thumblers (gonna get the 2 barrel)- Also I need more grit (man the stuff I got with the first thumblers disappered fast). I ordered the Jasper Wed morning (the last of my Christmas bonus)and it was here Fri- Now that is quick service- Where are the best prices for grit- I have really stretched my budget to the max and really can't afford much else at this point- so I need some less expensive options-

I recently ordered some 60/90 from Rock Shed. I can't remember the exact price but it was about $1.00 less per pound than Kingsley North and I didn't have to jump from one pound to 5, I could order 2 pounds. And the shipping was MUCH less.

If you can order a 50 lb bag of 60/90 you can get it for around $0.59/lb at Miles Supply. I just ordered 50 lbs each of #30/60 and #60/90 along with a couple lbs of tin oxide polish. It should be here by Tuesday the latest and I ordered it on Friday. They are in VT (among other locations) and I am in CT. I ordered some rocks from the rock shed and two days later I received them. I haven't ordered grit from them yet but I think next time I need grit I will. They are reasonably priced and quick to deliver. Plus they put some candy in with your order. Tami

Thanks for the info- CC points are credit card points (Cabela's) I earn free stuff (Thumblers 2 barrel is next) I never carry a balance so it works great for me> I wish I could afford to order 50 lbs of grit at a time but man I think my wife would be calling an attorney! I think I'll give the rock shed a try- Seems pretty reasonable price wise and I don't have to order a lot!
