Don't know about you folks, but this is one phrase I am now tired of hearing. Every year we have a whole new batch of phrases that are being overused, and this appears to be the one for this year.

I think I definitely have rocks for brains this morning. I'm sitting here LMAO because I don't get it. At first I thought it was a contest. Now I just think I am REALLY out of touch. Help me, someone, please help me. What goes in the blanks?
OMG, do I ever need help, or what?

Lady B
Remember when black was in and popular? (is it still? I'm the least fashion savvy person and don't follow such)
Well now orange is the new black! It means that orange is now the "in" thing
I too am tired of hearing this
Like saying Brad Pitt is the new Tom Cruise… but NOT saying Angelina Jolie is the new Jennifer Aniston
Heck I don't even know what is "in" anymore - nor do I care - I'm still wearing clothes that I wore years ago....

The one new phrase that I can't stand, "It is what it is." This means nothing and exudes ignorance by those who use it!
Even worse... "My bad."

I duuno... I kind of like "it is what it is" to me it's kind of Zen. Reflects my adopted philosophy regarding situations and how I react to them. It's not the situation that is good or bad it's how I react to any given situation that is good or bad. I know.... "PollyAnna"..... hehehehe... But it's better than losing my mind. Dan

Okay Blarney, but I am easily annoyed by insignifigant stuff, like when people crunch carrots. Poor neurotic BAZ. Or cleaning your ears out with your car keys. BAH!

Well I'm with Ladybea on this one.I don't get out much to hear all this new crap but there IS one that drives me up the wall.
"L I K E" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I saw a girl on TV who was asked to carry on a conversation without using "like" as every other word. She couldn't do it!! She was almost speechless!
"It was at like 4:30 in the morning and I like had a hangover and man I like hurt so I like took some meds and man I mean like I felt better in like a second!!"
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
