Just got back from my wifes Aunts in Macclesfield - they always throw a buffet on boxing day. They are going to live in Spain though this coming year so thats the end of the get togethers. A long tradition is over for me (at least 12 years) - although maybe I think I'll throw the boxing day party from now on. Well someones gotta doit yeah?

Sorry about that, Takila! I am just so into all the varied Christmas traditions that I forget others are not as familiar with some of these unique celebrations. Boxing Day is a traditional celebration, dating back to the Middle Ages. You can read all about it at this link: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boxing_DayEnjoy! Lady B
