That 1st one is my fav too! I really like that shape. That last one is very unusual. Looks like an exposed rib cage on the back side...and the x-ray of it in front. Steve

Soft or not, I like the scene in the Indian Paint Stone cab.

Great cabs. I kinda let the rock determine their shape. That is always the best and most enjoyable way. Zoran

Wow! I like #5/6, the plumes just grab me somehow. Maybe it's the backlighting. All are beautiful!

Amazing cab's. The last one is fantastic cab. Can not believe it came from the desert, where did you pick up the stone? Keep up the great cabin.

Really nice! I love those plumes...they look even better backlit! That last one is really super cool, too.

Howdy all. 49er asked about the cab with the fossil. I recieved a whole box of stuff from Egypt by way of a client of mine that spends lots of time working in Egypt. In return for cutting and polishing a couple of spiecemens of pet wood, ( that I have some pis of in the Sawing section) , I got the rest of the boxes contents. What is interesting is that this guy only picks this stuff up as a side bar to what he is really looking for. And that is Neo-lithic and paleo-lithic artifacts, which he finds lots of. The site he hunts is totaly dry desert. But 12,000 years ago, it was a huge lake. He finds all sorts of stone points from as small as 1/2" to over 6". Also different kind of stone and bone tool. He also brought me a fossil jaw bone from a crocodile that used to haunt the site. He tells me that it is like hunting in a gravel parking lot. And all of the gravel is really interestingly cool. Wish I could go with him some time.
