Apologies if this is the wrong place to post this but we found these on the beach here and tumbled them. We live in the Falkland Islands (South Atlantic) where you can collect agate pebbles on some beaches. They are black, white and translucent stones up to about 2” diameter, (most of them are smaller). Can you tell us what sort of agates these are as they don’t look like any we have seen pictures of. The stones are only found as beach pebbles – their origin is not known
Sorry again but we can't see how to post images. Some have white bands, swirls or concentric circles.
