I know Tweety hollered not too long ago but I know you're over there in Michigan still doing snow dances. But please, you missed and it's all landing on me ... I don't want anymore!!!!!! We got over 2 feet a few days ago that left this cute little "avalanche waiting to happen" partway over my front door. I'm afraid it will drop every time I go outside. The first one also destroyed a lot of trees, mine included. Same window and avalanche today after I shoveled to get out far enough for a picture. I've got piles over 5 feet high where I've been piling it trying to get a path cleared to the truck. BLECH!!!! But still better than poisonous snakes. The worst part, this is going to melt pretty fast next week. It's very wet heavy snow and going to cause the ol' Mississippi to go even higher and it's not showing any sign of stopping.

Wow!! I wished for snow this year in Georgia, and maybe if 2 feet fell, I would probally freak out. I would probally hate the snow if it lasted all year round. It is 81 degrees here in West Georgia, but we are expecting the storms to roll in here tonight about 9 pm. Take Care

It's still coming down too, though not as heavy as it was and could "possibly" continue until 7 am tomorrow. Catch that possibly, that's like in the summer when there's a "percent" chance of rain, you know, meteorologist talk for covering their backside.
I've shoveled until I can't shovel anymore (and am still not done) but I'm sure the first day we hit 80, I'll be wishing I had a snowbank to roll in. ;D Frank, if it lasted all year, I would not be living here I can guarantee that!!

Zimmerman was just on the edge of it so we just ended up with 3" of sloppy wet snow. They showed the Duluth lift bridge and the waves coming into the channel. Glad I am not there. If you got 2' you must be right in that area. It will get better........MrP

Hahahaha Joe, you might have a good idea there, if I send them off the back of the house, they could shoot right on down the hill to the next block and keep right on going.
Mr. P, I am about 100 miles NW of Duluth, you couldn't pay me to live there.

Well cp I think it's time you figure out how to send some of that nice weather to me and how to get all the water/snow we have down there to you guys. I think that would be a perfect exchange. *smile*

"The very existence of flame-throwers proves"................... That people hate snow and someone must have said once "lets clear this up" Cher - do the bear grylls thing and make a snow house. Or - alternatively - try living over here where it is totally boring 100% of the time weather wise - and just wishing you had some snow like that. Mark

We got snow, too, but nothing like poor Cher! In fact, our 6-8 inches is mostly melted, and now we have much mud and slush... Cher, yours is much prettier than mine, if that's any consolation. (Probably not, LOL)

LOL Karen, nope, I cannot find anything pretty about it when you can't see out of your windows.
Mark, I have snowbanks big enough we could build igloos and have an RTH party in them.

Was this the early in the week storm or the one on Thurs. and Fri.? We have been just on the edge of them a little snow and more rain. Thurs. and Fri. we had .75" of rain for which I am thankful for. I want to put the snow scoops away!!!!

Cher, you are so lucky!! I am very envious. I haven't gotten to use my sled in years and it looks like I could get a good start off your roof! Tony

I prefer rain over snow any day.
You don't have to shovel it !!!
