Woo-Hoo! Great pics...and I'm very excited to see all the progression pics. Those are some amazing plumes ...especially the T-Eggs! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that Dryhead or Teepee Canyon Agate.  Those are some eye-poppong colors too. What exactly is that little one in the 1st and 4th picture. (Reds, Oranges and yellows with the zig-zaggy patterns) Will you be Mine? ;D  ;D Steve

Boy, that's some awesome (and rare) material you are working with! I can hardly wait to see your progress. I am really impressed witht your Priday plume, and I saw a near-perfect rooster in the Teepee Canyon agate (with its beak pointing skyward). And man, that regency rose from Graveyard Point is fantastic!!!

I met a guy at the Madras Pow-wow two years ago who had a stash of it. He called it Rattlesnake wood, but mentioned it is really an agate. The folks who discovered it thought it was pet wood, hence the name.

It's something I've never seen. I was going to say it looks kind of similar to some of Curts Wood...it is UNUSUAL! Steve

Holy cow what a bunch of rare and wonderful stuff! I've always heard the zig zaggy pink yellow stuff called Howardite or Rattlesnake Jasper. Maybe they don't use the Howardite much because there's a meteorite type by that name too. Comes from northern Nevada and it's rare as hen's teeth now. Wow! Hardly ever see any! That's a heck of a slab of Wingate Plume too but the Priday Plume rules! That one with the black and white plume is awesome. You sure do choose some fine rough for them V-Day cabs!.....Mel

Love the idea of showing step by step, and the splash guard is great. The plume is gorgeous. You have some very lucky ladies in your life.

I ended up excluding the slab from this project due to micropitting I spotted under my magnifier. I'll save it for another time. Thanks, Dan
