Holy smokes! It's been a while since I checked in here on RTH and I'm glad to see so many new people posting cabs. I've had a lot going on in my life, some good, some not so good, but hopefully I'll be getting a little better about checking in here. Part of what's been keeping me busy has been my new rock shop I've been building next to my garage. I finally finished it and will be moving all my rock stuff in there and out of my garage. Here's a few pics, it's 8'x16', fully insulated and I'll be putting an air conditioner in it in a couple of months. Looking from the front of the house. From the back yard. Inside, front to back Inside, back to front And here are some of the cabs I've been doing lately. I changed my photo set up, got tired of picking cat hair and dust off the black background. I think the true colors of the cabs show up better using this new background. Let me know what you think. Bruneau jaspers Morgan Hill poppy jaspers Ocean Jaspers Amythest in Maury Mt moss agate Royal Velvet Obsidian Laguna agates Boulder opals A close up There's a lot more, but I don't want to load up this one post any more than it already is. Thanks for looking and I'll be back with more, hopefully soon.

Wow!!! Awesome shop..and insulated at that. Absolutely incredible cabs and photos. I love the backgound you're using. It looks like the cabs are floating in the air. The first Ocean Jasper and Laguna with Sagenite are real masterpieces.

Boy, you may take long breathers in between "checkins" but you sure do make up for the time with the pics you post.
Awesome rockshop and fantastic cabs. I love the new backgroud also especially with the subtle textured look to it.

I can only say .... wow!!!

Glad you got that thing finished! Now maybe you can get back to the important work of Cabbin and Posting. Like the first opal, the first laguna and the second ocean jasper! I think you made that shop too small, and need to get it closer to the line T

Nice shop Ed! And great cabs as always!
If you don't mind me saying so, I think the background is too busy. I've tried something similar and people always ooo and ahhh over the background! Same color and plain would be great. :2cents:

Hey Ed, it has been awhile. Gonna have a great shop there. And, needless to say, your cabs are BEAUTIFUL, as always. I owe it to you that my love for tumbling has resurfaced. I was cleaning out all my junk one day, deciding what I needed to get rid of and picked up the box of rocks you send me a few years ago. As soon as I took one out of the box and started caressing it, I KNEW that I couldn't get rid of my rock stuff. I now have three tumblers going, and plans to making my storage shed a rock work place. AND, going for the WWR blitz just so I can meet you! ;D Well, not just so I can actually meet you, but that is additional incentive! llana

Love the shape and the colors on that one! SILVER: 2nd Maury Moss with Amethyst. I have never seen any Maury Moss with Amethyst...really nice contrats with orange and purple. BRONZE: 1st Laguna. Love the sagnite sprays. Thanks for posting! Steve
