Well Tony ordered sterling silver jump rings for the upcoming craft show, and ordered ones that were too small. Not wanting to waste the $13 he spent, he was goofing around and made this ring! I was pretty impressed! Disregard, the old looking hand, LOL!!!! He always amazes me! I love it! Amber

Tony,
You have to much time on your hands. I would have lost patience after the first 15 jump rings.
Looks good and seems to fit pretty well also.

I wear a size 6 ring, and this took 70 rings, I would have lost it doing this!!!! Only problem is getting them caught in my hair, ouch!!!! I told him he could have woven a big old diamond in there, LOL!!!!!! For now this will do!!!!! LOL

Cool ring Amber. And only $13 for an engagement ring - even beats CZ! Just kidding!

The ring is nothing impressive. Its the simplest of the possible ways to link the rings together. I was making the pattern and she kinda of liked it so I sized it to fit her. If I had given this to her as an engagement ring I'd still be trying to dig it out of a certain part of my anatomy. lol

Tony:
Now that you have set the stage, you better get busy with the real one! This one does look pretty good. Woody

I'm not saying there isn't one in her future, it is very likely that there is. It just has to be nicer than this one.

Ya done good pilgrim!!
I have a couple of comments about this ring if you don't mind,,,,and if you do,,,,tough!
Many of the pieces of this type of jewelery are done exactly as you did and I don't like it. In my "humble" opinion all of the rings should be soldered which is very time consuming and tedious work.
Tony PLEASE don't get me wrong,,,you did one heck of a job on this ring and as I said above many of these type of pieces are done exactly the same as yours. It's just "my" thing about this technique as I feel they are unfinished.
I've done some pretty difficult soldering with my pieces but WOULD NEVER attempt to solder alllllllllll those joints.
That's why Mrs. Connrock doesn't have any!
Now that I think about it you have come up with a unique way to get Amber to pull her hair out though!!
Now for my main comment,,,,,,
You can spend all the money in the world for a diamond ring and (to me) it would NEVER be worth 1/1000 of a cent worth of the ring you made!
What you made came from your heart,,,diamonds are ONLY an overpriced stone that comes from the dirt!

TOm: I agree so he is going to use the whopping diamond the last husband paid for, LOL!!!!!! I told him I would be thrilled with any ring he made, but might as well reuse the one I already have!!

Tony, I agree somewhat with ConRock, the rings probably be soldered. Also agreeing with him it is the most tedious and boring thing you can do. I think every silver craftsman should solder 50 or more jump rings together, you will improve your torch handling and probably try some fusing also.
I have 200 jump rings that I have been trying to make a chain with for over a year. Boring!!
The ring looks good and the hand shows it well.
