Howdy folks, Finally pulled out another mixed load yesterday here are a few pics. thanks for lookin.....Mel The whole batch with flash: Natural light: Plus a few highlights. First green tree agate from India. I really like this stuff. Lavic Jasper, much prettier than it looks in the pic because I only moved my best stuff back to Texas with me. South Dakota Prairie Agate mix: Mixed Mexican end cuts. The largest is one of the biggest tumbles I've ever done, about five or six ounces Tiger eye: Still not sure I like tumbling this stuff as those darn fibers often pop loose in the final stages but the kids flat love it. Mixed Texas rockpile stuff: And finally, I little Imperial Jasper:

Wow Mel, those are just beautiful. I have a small batch due out on Monday. I hope they look half as pretty. I love those Agates and that Imperial Jasper is stunning.

I've been hot to try that green tree agate in a tumble and seeing it done well only stokes the fire. That big tumble came out very nice. Looks like you left some of the rind on which I think can add a nice contrast. Great job.

Great job on the tree agate. Best I have ever gotten was a matte finish in a rotary.

You know the tree agate surprised me. Often it has a lot of calcite included in the vugs which really messes up the stones, This batch was real glassy though and took a mirror shine. The vugs were mainly quartz so they polished up nicely too....Mel
