Thanks guys... Nate...as far as tumbling goes....umm....all I got is lakers, hematite....some quartz.....I just grab a handful of lakers, or 2 or 3.....toss'em in there....throw in a few pieces of this and that's, and stick the lid on it. I don't grind them, or mess with them in any way, what happens in there, is what happens! LOL I use them for pictures frames mostly, so worrying about what I put in there...not gonna happen...I got cabbing to do, and jewelry to make! hahahahaha It's funny, when I 1st started tumbling, I could NOT wait for them to come out...now i dont worry bout it, it's fun to see what's left after all these months of running!! fun to see some of those purtees I haven't seen for several months! hahahahaha Thanks again!

Hey Marie, how much noise does your 12 pounder make when running a new batch? I'm thinking about moving up to a 12 pound, but right now I never have enough stone of the same or close enough mohs to run together. Only maybe 5 or 6 pounds max. Maybe I should run some of my big stuff in one???

Marie, that is a nice looking batch and with hard materials, even changing grit weekly, it takes forever! I know what you mean though, I have gotten very, well, lax about checking my barrels. I am going to have to make myself do that this weekend. Fran
