I just bought a 14" HP M2 slab saw that has the wiring cut. There is a switch on the front with ON on the bottom and OFF on the top. There is a wire coming from this box that has been cut. Mounted on the table under the saw is a Packard motor with a cord and plug coming from it. I can't figure out where/how to connect the wire from the switch to the motor. Anybody have ideas and/or wiring diagrams or ? There also is piping designed to spray oil onto both sides of the blade. It goes through the back of the case and has about two feet of copper tubing attached but no vat or pump or any other way to get the oil up to the blade. I think it was designed to let the oil drain into a tank under the saw and have it pumped up to the blade... instead of holding oil in the box. But I don't know what is missing to make this happen. Thanks for your help.

If the saw motor is 110 volt, the cord will have a black, white, and green wire. The black wire goes to switch. From switch to L-1 on motor. White on cord goes to L-2. Green goes to motor ground. If you use cord to switch keep the blacks and whites straight or mark white ends with black marker. For the oil, yes it sounds like it had a pump system. You need a submersible pump capable of pumping oil from tank under to blade. You could probably easier just buy a plug or cap as need to shut off the drain and fill sump to cover bottom 1/2" of blade rim.

Yep what John said... I take it your M2 doesn't have an auto shut off. Mine didn't either, it has a section of the feed screw machined off so the vice will stop if I forget to shut it off. The problem is the vice hits the back of the lid and opens it an inch or so, neatly oiling the floor of my garage. I have the pieces, just need to get busy and install the auto shut off.
