I cut some crazy lace a while back and this slab came out of it.Thought it was rather,I'd say, different. I was wondering for an appropriate name for this one.Any ideas? snuffy ;D

Snuffy: Don't know if there is an actual name for that type. When I was at the San Antonio Gem show year before last, a guy showed up with a whole truckload of crazy lace that was not typical of the types we usually see come to market. I kind of suspect that the material is being graded at the mine or wholesaler and the stuff that does not fit a particular trade named type is set aside and is now showing up on the market. This atypical material was being sold for $1-3 per pound off the truck and was really being snapped up because some had very interesting color and pattern, it just didn't look very lacy. Considering the regular crazy lace, when you can find it, is now going for $5 a pound and up, the new stuff was pretty nice for the price......Mel

Snuffy, that is some strange crazy lace but looks rather neat too. I see a long slender head with a great bit smile.
