It doesn't have to have grey in it. There's an all-over look and feel to the Mexican Crazy Lace. I was told that mine is, quote, unquote: West of Elido Benito Juarez in the Sierra Santa Lucia, Chihuahua, Mexico. probably the La Fortuna claim -- maybe yours is too. Here is the photo of mine. It is a sphere we had made by an old rock cutter from Texas. I see similarities to your material.
