We've come full circle. We're back in PA visiting the kids and just celebrated our first year on the road. Put together a little 6 1/2 minute glimpse at the year behind us. Hope you enjoy.

Wow! What an adventure you've had! Good on ya! I bet Angie is one of the world's most-travelled golden retrievers. The tales she could tell!
Thanks for sharing with us.

Thanks Tom. Angie has taken it all in stride pretty much except she pulls me to any solid building and wants to go inside and thinks she has an open invitation to go in and visit everyone's camper. She really loves her "world" in the truck, which is the whole back seat. It's a real treat when she see's someone she's met before, she's got a memory like an elephant. She remembers campgrounds we've revisited too.
Sue, thank you. I thought about doing a calendar or something, but my camera is only 4 megapixels and I didn't use a tripod for any of them. But... not too bad for off the cuff. Can't tell you how many gorgeous shots I missed because Bill wouldn't slow down or stop, LOL. Used to get upset about it, but not any more.

Loved the South Carolina in snow pictures!! It probably lasted for at least 2 days. Adventures to last a lifetime for sure. We have been to several of your locations, but enjoyed a little traveling with you. I wish you had let me know you wanted emeralds, I could have taken you to the Crabtree Mine to look for some real N.C. emeralds. Just no guarantee like Gem Hollow!! Thanks for sharing again. Doug

Doug, we should be hitting NC and SC this fall so I'll give you a shout when we know exactly when. Yeah... I could tell that Hiddenite salted everything. I was pulling out pieces with blatant saw cuts and realized they were the scrap from the lapidary shop. I thought to myself, "how many times are they gonna sell this stuff" LOL. That blizzard was the day after Christmas and we drove in it. Whew! Thanks Mel! We crossed the country 4 times last year. One of our goals was to see as many National Parks and Monuments as we could. Mary Ann, you wanted to see pics of the east, being the hot desert lady that you are, and it was more fun with you along for the ride. Jo

Awesome video Jo (although I was expecting at least banjo music ;-)). Congratulations on the one year anniversary. I'm glad I got to meet you all on your journey this year and look forward to meeting you all again. Gotta get some hugs from you and Bill and of course some Angie love. Thanks for sharing the video and the ride.

Jo, thanks for showing us places that most likely I will never see in person. I enjoy all the photos everyone shows on here.
