Figured I have been kind of a lurker on here for the past while so here are some pictures of what I found on our latest club trip here in Estevan. These are just what I found that day. These are the ones from out at Rafferty Dam and the tourmaline crystal I found, there are a few more little ones in the group shot and the pink and black ones are a tourmaline rose quartz mix. Not too much for agates because of the lack of sun but still a great day. The tourmaline isn't too great for some areas but its the first time I have found some around here so I'm pretty happy about it. Chris took us to a great spot for porcellanite after Rafferty. Found some great stuff there. Some fantastic banding and colours. For size reference they are sitting on my deck which is 6" boards

That porcellanite is some real pretty stuff. It is something new to me and just recently heard of it. how does it work for cabbing and tumbling?

I love the contrasts of the porcellanite colors. Nice finds all! *jealous*

Never tried tumbling it but porcellanite is a little chippy and can sometimes break along the layers when cabbing. If it stays together for you it takes a awesome shine really easy.
