I have developed a weakness for some of this man made composite stone that Stoneviews has had for sale. I could not resist getting some to try out and hopefully will be able to cut some preforms this weekend. There were a few treats in there as well! Thank you Clint and Gale! Fran

Great material Fran but my favorite is the little dendrite, white with black in the bottom right corner.

Those are pretty but I like the vein agate best. That's a beaut!....Mel

They have been making man made lapidary material for hundreds of years and I have to admit I have some. But I sure like the real thing and those real slabs are what to love and will make great stones. Don

I tell you what, I just love all the varieties out there, real and man made. As long as they are upfront with it, I am happy and it just depends on what the look is that I am going for at that time. I love purple so that set out of the man made will be mine. Now that the garden is starting to give me a little time, I hope to get some things done! Fran

Thank You Fran, I also enjoy working with the man made material, can't wait to see your finished cabs.
