With all the commotion about the Illinois Picture Stone, I decided to cut into yet a few more of the rocks I brought home from Illinois. Here's a couple more geodes. Nothing to write home about, but I kinda like the color of the lil one Next is another greenstone. Definitely not as exciting as the piece Ted cut for me at his place Then we have another hunk o'chert. I may cut a cab from this next, it's quite interesting to me Lastly is some marble with quartz veins in it. I'll definitely be cabbing this sooner than later Thanks for looking, Nate

i like the chert and marble . chert looks quartzy,transluscent? the red layers in the marble have a sunset look . those particular geodes and greenstone are good rock garden rocks, gotta cut several geodes to get a good one to cab
