Does anyone have any experience with the "High Tech Diamond" saws? I'm looking to replace my 6 and 10" saws and am intrigued by the designs, they looks pretty self contain and potentially durable as theyre made of a high quality (according to them) plastic rather than metal tanks. I haven't been able to find any credible reviews or much in depth info on them... They dont offer much in the way of pictures and don't seem to have a catalog.
So basically, figured I'd ask here and see if anyone uses that brand and has any insights or advice.
Thanks!!

I've heard good reviews on the plastic bodied 6" saws. The 4" would be very similar to the Ameritool 4" and both take 5" blades as well. I've never seen the 10" saw. High Tech was bought last year by Reentel which is a wholesale only supplier so you would have to buy through one of their dealers. I buy some supply items from them and can sell the High Tech units at 15% off list. People seem divided on plastic vs. metal bodied saws. I like trim saws made for water (plastic) and slab saws made for oil (metal).

Hi Chad, and welcome to the forum! I have a 6 inch HI Tech saw that I bought used and love it. I have had it for about 3 years, have used it a lot; and have had no problems with it. Ihe only thing I do not likie and would change it if I could, is the tank is not removable. This makes it more of a hassle when it is time to clean it. I use water as a coolant which is nice. Daniel
