i bought this 4 years ago i love it and it cuts beautifully but i have no idea who the manufacturer is. Please help. here are the pics. ok fixed. stupid picasa lol and a sneek peek of what i am slabing right now..

fixed the pics
I have a 16 inch blade in it but it looks like 17s could fit. It is a power feed with a separate motor for the feed and for the blade. It has auto shut off that is operated with the chain that is attached to the vice and goes to the on switch.

Still no pics showing. Several old makers used a chain on the shut off.

Is the lid fiberglass? If it is it could very likely be a Hilquist. They used a vice like that as well.

Yes it is fiberglass rockoonz. I found the hillquist website but there new stuf looks nothing like mine but that doesnt mean anything really being mine is fairly old. Do you or anyone have any info on the older models?

I had a 20 inch Hilquist for awhile, the vice used the same design. There was also one on craigslist locally with a fiberglass lid. I believe that they also were sold with a Montgomery Wards label on them.
