Terrific pickup, Brian. You and Gary kill me sometimes. Especially Gary's comment about "thought I'd do some rockhounding on the way to the mail box ... look at all the petrified wood and rainbow rock!". By the way, your finds in the fast-food parking lot still rates as one of the best stories! SoCal's all paved and now Larry's found some articles that the Feds and Obama are looking to expand the "protected" land out in the Mojave area. Ugh! Paul
