I can't help it! I just love amethyst sage! This one is very dramatic with all the bold swirls in it! Even though you have dark spots, it is not too overwhelming. I am wondering if I should try to heat a slab of the really dark stuff I just cut to see if it will lighten up. I am just curious if that could work Fran

I think heat would make it darker. I have lightened the surface of really dark biggs by repeatedly soaking it in bleach and letting it dry out. most of the lightening happens as the bleach dries. I have been meaning to give it a try with Oxy Clean because that should oxidize the surface too.

it is darker than it looks under the photo lights. I am cutting the sister block now though, and it is cutting lighter with more amy.

I am going to have to try the bleach and see what happens. I cut a few of the darker slabs up into pieces for the tumbler. I think they should turn out great in there. I am looking forward to seeing the rest of the slabs when you get them done! Fran
