A few days ago I was wandering through the board and found links to a company who sold bits for drills. I think it was on ebay. I know I should have copied the links, but I didn't. So can someone recommend a site and which drill bits they find work the best? Thanks. This board has so much info it's hard to keep track.

Um,I have used the cheap bits from Harbor Freight,they are a pack of ten diamond burs with cylinder bits good for drilling. I typically get most of my stuff from www.WidgetSupply.comI use these and the other sizes mostly,they cut good and last as long as you use enough water to cool them and don't force the bit while drilling. www.widgetsupply.com/page/WS/PROD/dremel-drill-bit-other/BDG23Oh,and a ball end bur is good for starting on the area you want to drill. It will keep the bit from chattering on the stone surface and give better purchase. |

Thanks for the info. I have a Harbor freight not too far from the house. Might buy a few bits and give it a try. I'll check out some videos and get to work on Saturday.

Www. Richontools.com I've used a lot of their stuff and it has held up good. I just bought some hole saws...so I can't say how good they'll be, but the bits, wheels, blades, etc., I've bought from them have held up great. And the shipping from China is pretty fast considering, and cheap. T
