I just did this on paint, so I couldn't redo the kite shape. I'd try something different tehre to incorporate the bend in the pattern. Nate

I do not have photo shop so I will just tell you the easy way I would cut it to be different. There is a lot going on in that slab and I would like to have all of the different goings on in one cab. Therefore I would split it down the middle at a bit of an angle so it is not square and a little narrower on one end. Then I would round it on both ends. I have made some that long and with a short necklace they look great. At the very least I would quarter it going lengthwise and then you would still have the variations included in four cabs. Whatever you do I am sure it will be great. Jim

if you want a focal pendant, cut the flat top, double dome it, and face drill for a long narrow pinch bail. the smaller the flat on top, the barrower the bail.
if you want to have a metal & stone pendant, maybe a shallow dish with several prongs soldered on the edge.
I kind of like the pinch bail version

Deb, I literally have no idea what any of that means aside from cut the flat top lol!!! So I'm guessing all that fancy Lapidarist talk means, dome both sides, with a narrowish flat top. Then drill straight through the face for the bail? . yes. you got it.
