I cut this lastnight. It has small pinholes. What do you do with pinholes? Do you fill them with something or leave them because it is more natural?

I do not worry about pinholes and some of the fractures. I see it as (the stone). I have sold as many stones with fractures and pinholes as without. Looks like that would make an awesome cab. Jim

Beef jerky.... Dont people sometimes use opticon before polish. I have some things I would want to try it on. Nice colors in that stone.Show us one finished when you can.

yes I use option/acetone 50/50 mix to put on stuff that I want it to penetrate into like pin holes or rock with soft spots. I usually do the soak after I have preformed and shaped the cab and taken it up to prepolish so when it comes out of the soak all you need to do is to polish it out
