Went hounding with Curt last weekend and came back with some different material.Cut some, didnt want to overload yall on pics. This is no name stuff for the most part, but its fun cuttin'. This was identified as possibly Goldfield,Nevada jasper by Mel.This was taken with flash this morning, the day has been heavily overcast. All the other photos are without flash. same stuff. Think maybe a little roostertail up top, bottom is a sequence of slabs off a red and gold rock. These. Thanks for looking, have a great day.I am. snuffy

OK, now picture number four with the yellow agate with the red line looks to be San Rafael Rim/ Green River, Utah area stuff, sometimes called San Rafael Agate. Usewd to have some of that last stuff too Snuffy. Got it from Goodnows Gems many years ago but none made it to Texas with me so Lowell might have it. I do know it's a silicified wonderstone type rhyolite and was imported from Mexico but I can't remember what the heck the trade name was and have not seen any for years...Mel

Nice Snuff! I like the colors on the very top and the roostertail is always a favorite.

Fun slabbing, even more so cabbing. Looks like you got sub-herb material.
I'm most likely way off, but... could the last one be some type of Hickoryite? Got one with very similar colors but mine has very regular banding.

Got one with very similar colors but mine has very regular banding. Cabbing is one thing I haven't got into, yet, maybe someday. These are nodules, inside isnt agate, seems to be jasper.I think I tumbled some in the past and was about the same hardness as agate and jasper.Got a couple more to cut into later. snuffy
