Welcome to the site. You will probably get more responses to your question if you post it in the tumbling section.
I would need to know more about the coral stones. Some coral is crumbly and some is hard. Some of what I have would fall apart and others would polish like agate. I am no expert but I think that some coral can also be replaced with opal or jade.
Are you wanting to tumble carvings to polish them? That could also determine whether or not you can tumble or not because of breakage when the stones are banging around in the tumbler.
