Wow that's pretty stuff! At first I th9ught that was that flame jasper stuff the Kim ( rockyraccoon) used to sell but yours is similar colors but different patterns. Is that also a South African material?...Mel

It is from Brazil. In blocking the piece it was a little brittle, but on the saw it is pretty solid. Does not seem breciatted in place, but rather conglomorate of red and blue bits.
Also got a few slabs on ebay, and it varies a bit.

Was me Id water glass it and keep sawn. Thats how I get my specimums. Cut close to wood an the rest just polish an keep fer show. Later Clyde

well with my backlog a bolo and a few cabs will be 6 months or a year
for now I will just enjoy the slabs!
