Thanks again everyone. We appreciate your condolences. Revy was 12, and we had her for 7 yrs, so I know she had a good life. She had some issues with her hips when she was born, then her original owners couldn't afford a hernia sergury, so she had that for a while before the vet talked them into giving her up to the rescue. After they got her all fixed up we adopted her and she has been our baby ever since. The girls (and jennifer too ;D) loved to dress her in little cute outfits, do her hair, and carry her around. She even rode in the basket on Jennifer's bicycle on occation. We have 2 other yorkies (also rescued), both are large for the breed, but loved just the same. Wow, what personalities they have! Nate

So sorry for your loss Nate. Our dogs aren't just pets. They're members of our families. And to loose one always hurts. They're never forgotten.

Hi Nate, I am so sorry to learn of your loss. I being a dog/animal lover can feel your pain. For us a dog or any other pet is a cherished member of the family they are our children that never grow up. Though Revy is no longer with you in the physical sense she will live for ever in the many fond memories you and your family have of her. Stu

Sorry to hear of your loss. That is definitely a fitting memorial stone for her. My dog Bunny passed away several years ago and she is buried at a friend's house with a rose quartz rock for her headstone (my friend was a rockhound too when he was younger although most of his are bought).

I feel for you. I know how it is to lose a long time fury friend. I lost my Chewy 3/1/2010. She was like a child that I never had. My husband had her cremated for me and will be placed with me when I go. Just remember, she was so loved and is waiting for you when its your turn.

Chaplady, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one. I've let my wife know that when it's our dog Jake's time to go, he will be cremated and buried with me in his normal position at my left hip. And that if I should go before he does, his ashes are to be buried on top of my box, or sprinkled over my grave. In a way, I hope that I go before he does. I can't stand the thought of having to go on without my best buddy.

Don, I understand what you are saying. I had to put "Patches" my rock hunting buddy down last spring. She was 18 yoa. After rockhounding with me for many many years, she would bring rocks to me in her mouth and lay them at my feet. Like master, like dog. Happy New Year everyone. Bob
