Turitella cabachons material is out of Wyoming The first and second cabachons are double sided Side A- Cab 1 Side B-Cab 1 Side A- Cab 2 Side B- Cab 2 And finally a heart from the remainder of the slab

Very nice! I love Turritella. The stuff I have is sometimes hard to finish a cab without some small part of a shell turning into a pit due to having a small hollow in it.

Bill, Some of this stuff is hard to finish without pitting, and tear out on the shells. Try stabilizing it with opticon before you cab it. Robert

Awesome Turitella Robert! Beautiful shine!! I've had the same problem losing bits of shell when working them without any stabilization. The edges seem to be the most sensitive but yours look perfect!

I haven't worked any yet but some of those spots/shells can reflect differently you got some nice purplish coloring the heart is pumping cells ! nice Ed
