A while back, I bought a few pounds of Montana agate from Catmandewe. Some were clear and some you could see had patterns. I started cutting this one since it was really dark and I wasn't sure what it would look like. It had a crack in the center but I think they look pretty cool! Only got 2 slabs before my blade started giving me problems. These are about 3 1/2 wide and 2 tall. Take a look, Fran

I always like Montana agate with orange in it. Have you picked out clean areas to trim out?

It is hard to decide. The top slab, the whole right side seems to be clear of fractures from the middle of the dark area on. The opposite on the slab below. There are some hairline cracks that I just can't tell if they are healed or not on the bad side. May not be bad at all. I will cut some preforms and see if the bad side wants to fracture. If it does, I will know the best places to work. Fran
