My first saw was a $25 Frantom 10". It was left outside and had rusty barnacle looking things in the sump. After using a 6' piece of pipe on a pipe wrench I got it to turn. The bottom of blade was rusted through but after installing a new cheap blade I used it a couple of months before replacing the bearings. It went from screamingly loud to whisper quiet. By the way, I drank way too many beers one night with a guy that worked at a Kaman branch. Only thing I remember is Mr. Kaman pronounces his name like command without the D, not Kay-man like everyone calls it. How's that for completely valueless trivia?

Dunno John, could be very important depending how many beers Mr, Kaman had in when his name is mispronounced. Then, it just not be valueless trivia. Woody
