Before I run off to order a bunch, any posters here sell these diamond pacific nova points so I can buy them from someone on the forum? If so, send me a pm so I can order from you. I want large set (280,600,1200,3000) plus 14,000 and 50,000. John can set you up at JSGems. Tony

Thanks Tony! I just checked John's site, and he doesn't carry the small carving points... he sells nova wheels and saw blades (IF I can get my horrible tile saw to work right, I will get a blade from him, as well as any bigger equipment I need later).

Helen I modified a 5 gallon bucket to carve in with a plexie sheild to keep from spattering carving stuff everywhere. I have the drip system coming from a plexie shield thats the top and a removable plexie that I can work behind.

Helen:
Send John a PM...he frequently can get stuff before he gets it on his site. I sometimes have problems getting around his site and a message to him usually gets me what I need/want. Sue

Hey Frog (um... can you sign your name... I feel odd calling someone 'frog' ), that's a really creative setup!! I may be able to make something like that... will look into it more!! Thank you for all the wonderful info!! Sue, after I didn't see it in John's catalog last nite, I bugged already Tony because I'm already buying some more of his owyhee, and he was ordering something for himself anyway, so going to add the points to his order. The points are not real expensive, I don't want to put John out for just 3 small bit orders (am getting the 'set' plus 2 more bits), and I'm already getting a small order from Tony anyway, so he can just put it in box. However, I DEFINITELY plan to bug John when I get better situated with rock stuff. My first priority is figuring out what I want to do with rocks, which direction to go in (cabs? slabs? specimens?. How I can incorporate it into my work (and sales), and then creating the physical space for doing what I plan to do. I'm not quite there yet. But John will definitely hear from me in a few months, it's just going to take me time to get it all situated with my glass stuff. But you guys are so wonderful with all the help and suggestions:).
