Remember, I already went through half of it awhile ago. Only needed to go through the new stuff. Photos are giving me problems . . .

HOW DARE YOU TAKE SO MUCH OUT OF THAT BOX. Tongue way into cheek. lmao Someone actually took out as much as they put in. I am proud of you. I will bet that you have a very balanced life and do not want a bunch of people BITCHING AT YOU FOR NOT TAKING ENOUGH. And it is so good to see a woman that her first priority is not making sure that her fingernails are clean in a photo. Sorry Susan, just had to make you look down at your nails. hahaha Ok, now if I have not thoroughly pissed you off I will say that you really put some awesome things in the box and trading slabs for rough is a pretty big trade up.
My Harley cab machine arrives today so I am stoked Jim

Glad to know it got there ok. I was worried. There is more coming though and you'll just have to take some more. Thanks for the compliment.

Woohoo! Got the box, and had fun going through it, I needed something like that, work's been tiring! Sorry, no pix, but Susan was great about putting things together, so if there were two, I usually took one. The pair of Ameythst Sage slabs were gorgeous, so I took one of those. Two rolls of square copper wire, so I took one. I found the pair of earrings, and then there was a large 'odd' one, so since Helen put those in, I figured it was okay to take the pair, lol. I also took a piece of the interesting Florida agate. There were 5 pieces of rhodocrosite, and I took 2 of those. There were a number of gorgeous cabs, and I coveted a quartz with black tourmaline, which is in my display case, on one of two little plastic stands that were in the box. Wow, who faceted that? I also took, sadly, a broken cab that was a dark blue-ish color, and will reshape it. I put in 3 cabs in exchange, 2 of AZ Chyrsocolla, and larger labradorite cab I did. I took one of the tools, one of the Zap. Got a piece of the Bruneau of course! Took two more slabs, and left the rest for Helen. Yay, all slabs, so I'll be able to get the box mended and shipped to you tomorrow! I added slabs of Tiffany stone, labradorite, picture jasper, dark OJ, and others that I've had fun sawing lately on my Big Blue. Oh, and because I also do chainmaille, I had fun, and put in a pair of earrings and a chainmaille ball (sort of like a worry stone, it keeps your hands busy) for you or whoever you know who might like it! And I hear that Paul might be bringing up some obsidian when he comes to adopt my 14" saw, so I left all of it for you as well. Perfect timing! It sure made my long day so much better!! ~Dee

Okay, okay, I kicked my lazy bottom and took pictures! (It has been a long day) Here's the box just opened. Neat packing, Susan! I took the needle nose pliers, that I really needed, as mine got warped! Here are the treasures I took! Lots of little slabettes I forgot to mention in my post above. Here's a fuzzy (darn camera) picture of the broken cab. There's also a fracture that's close to falling off the top part below the broken tip. But such a pretty color! Whoever put that in, what kind of stone is it? It's almost teal in color! This is the chainmaille I put in. Pink, of course! Here are the cabs. The lab really has more shimmer than shows on this late day shot. And here are the slabs I added. I forgot I had a slab of the Blue G in there for Helen to play with too! So there you go. As you can see, I was not shy about taking stuff!! Leaves more room to put stuff in!

I like the chainmaile too! I have no idea how you make that! Sort of glad I don't know, as it seems sort of magical. Glad you were able to find stuff you liked in there!

Holly crap, my daughter would go ape over those dragons. Even more than me. Any chance of doing a trade of some kind with the rocks that you want? I need a great Christmas present for her. Ok, standing order. If anyone has dragons they should let me know. Especially if you need rocks because you could talk me out of anything that I have. How big are those dragons? I need a small dragon for a jade mountain custom knife holder project that I want to make (some day). I only have the jade mountain so far but it is a start. lol Jim
Oh yea, the box. Sorry, dragons make me loose my already short attention span. Looks like you made a great trade. Please contact me about the dragons. See I have already lost it.
Jim again

GREAT pieces, Dee. Love it! And yes, some of the obsidian will be traveling up with me - rough as I simply won't have time between now and departure on Thursday to get that taken care of. Jim, you are too funny.

LOL! Dee found Jim's biggest weak spot... dragons:P. hehehehe. I have a bigger weak spot but ya'll will never know what it is. You just think that you can take advantage of an old dude with a weak mind. Well, I am right on top of that. What were we talking about? Jim
