There I was drinking coffee this morning, reading and watching the "News" and "weather",than a voice said "rockhound today"............Just slightly, but it was there ..... I knew I was going to head to town to pay a few bills, than the bank.Plus a few "Honey dues" outside first. as I was walking out to the deck, here these voices coming back "hunt rocks today....."HUNT ROCKS TODAY"!!!! I had no intention of rockhounding today,"noda" "none" "zero"... I pulled my trk up to my shop doors to work on it and than as I opened the doors to the shop, there they were,my rockhounding gear looking at me,yelling "GO ROCKHOUNDING TODAY"!!! Well,I put my water boots in the trk,my rock bag and rock picker too....... Payed the bills and headed to the river to just maybe take a look. Ya' right,me take a look,LMAO!!! I seen the river had gone down a lot since last week and the gravel was popping and gleaming under the water from the sun shining on it! So I put on my water boots and head out into the water about 8 feet(only about a foot deep) and started walking the gravels facing the sun.... I did fairly good and came up with some stuff I hardly find, like blue agate and a couple odd balls(I videoed for you folks)... All in all I listened to the voices in my head one more time and it payed off again.............LOL ;D

You know Don,its coming up on us soon enough isn't it!!!!!!! Hoping one of my grandkids pick it up and I can load it all up and give them everything I have!
