Hi Every One! As I mentioned earlier a person brought me some Thunder Eggs from Oregon. That was a big event for me ! I have lots to learn about working with them as the following pictures may show. I’m not sure the piece is done and the wrap is well an attempt. Nonetheless, I think you’ll enjoy I cut this from the heel of the rock on the Workforce. It was a very uneven cut and getting the back to a polish flat with the ancient mud matrix is proving a challenge. The money shot That red demarcation button just does it for me. I’ve got good amount of grind time into it and thought it was cool piece as is. I know that it a lot picture of just one piece and not particularly outstanding but taken all together it pretty darn good for this backyard hobbyist. Thanks for thundering in ! Ed

I like it, Ed! The pattern is great, and though I'm colorblind, the colors I'm seeing look cool together I enjoy working geodes. I've got a bunch of slices that look like sharks jaws I keep thinking I'll do something with, lol. T

Quite a shine you have going on that, Ed! Is that you in the first shot or a picture in the stone? Impressive either way and a killer picture! Love the stone! Kind of looks like floating continents. Overall that's a really great piece!!!

Thanks for all the interesting replies everyone ! I have one more thunder egg I'm waiting to cut and will probably leave that one traditional & just try to polish the 2 halves but the person tells me that more are on the way from Oregon  The reflection of me in the stone was trippy O being that its a new grind season I went back to my original name- deeptime I have a different name for all seasons so hang in there on Mr.Ed Wild Rock Ride mostly
