I saw Christopher say that he used an ultrasonic vibe to get polish out of cabs, i think i need to figure something similar out, but MAN this is fun!

why stop ... neither cutting or posting
you can get a hand-held pin-point power wash (they use them as spot cleaner in dry cleaners) to clean polish out of any crack. I love mine.

I agree with Daniel...no need to stop~! Although I haven't posted much in a few months, I have always been around from time to time checking out everyone's posts. I have enjoyed watching your progression, and now you have a Genie....the fun has just begun! I use a spray bottle to get the polish out of my cabs. It works pretty good....and it's cheap! Keep Em' Coming John. Steve

I tried a spray bottle, I have one by the machine to keep the AO/suede flat lap damp. I'll try making it a "stream" and see if that works.
Thanks for the encouragement all.

Stop? You just got started and we're loving it. ;D Noreena is really cool. There is so much going on in the stone.
I haven't used a polish on anything, yet just the wheels and occasional zam on finished stones. But, I'm wondering if a can of compressed air can blow out dried polish? I use it to blow out pits before glue.

Tela, you could sure try! From the vibe, the polish that gets lodged in fissures seems fairly permanent, but i don't know yet about cabs.
