Local yes, I did not find it, I bought a bunch of unknown quality greenish stuff from a local private-land-collected batch.
Of the $50 of stuff I bought this is the only bit I've made that is semi-cool, but it is semi-cool and it is local.

your hands remind me of my father.. he was a mason and the lime & cement he worked with used to dry his hands out till they looked like that.. hen they would crack & bleed if he didn't get lotion on them and dinner... memories....
nice stone work too!!!!

Great cabs! Love the obsidian, WOW! I gotta tell ya though- Your hands tell the real story. Who can be bothered by rock snot, dust and water on their hands when there's rocks to grind! Great pictures. I love how dirty your genie is- ain't it pretty new?

Thanks all, yeah it is just the dust in the water on my hands. Colorado is dry and my hands are always a little dry but the white chalky look is just the dust dried on my hands. I took a few minutes out of my afternoon to sit and keep at this cabbing thing so I can keep working on improving.
Tela, I think this is like the 10th or so cab on this, I just need to wipe it down. I had worked some stuff earlier with a lot of matrix and it gooped everything up.
