my guess are #1 is a type of lace agate #2 maybe a serpentine #3#4#5 resemble bloodstone jasper or something close to that #6 I would guess chrysocolla #7 unsure #8 mahogany obsidian #9 I would say might be obsidian from the way the chipping looks on the outside edges.
Good luck with all the I.D.'s

I think Chuck is pretty close and as far as prices for that stuff from what I saw at the show last weekend, I would say (roughly) 1)5-6.00 2)7-10.00 3, 4, 5)if it's a large slab 15 - 20.00 6)7 - 10.00 7,8, 9)5.00 - 7.00 (def 7 for ob!)
that would be my best guess!

Thanks guys for your help. I stick mainly with rough, and specimens and let my buddies mess with all the slabs and agates. So do you think $50 is a fair price for all of them? I wanted to make sure I wasn't giving them away or screwing anyone on price.

Maybe they have an east coast bump or something. For example, a small slab of mahogany obsidian is $2-$3 max. Along the i-5 corridor, that slab would be in the $1 bin. #1 is a freebie that someone would throw into a parce. it does not have very distinct pattern, and if full of pits and voids. #2 does not look like a jasper, but possibly a serpentine, which is a common material. #6 might be worth $6-$8, but it depends on fractures and soft spots - and a buyer who like copper oxides. #7 is not a freebie, but has fairly little value. The fancy jaspers may be the nicest because they are colorful and largish. Some of those do go on ebay for $10, but often cheaper. Some might like the extra weight of the thick end-cut, but this is generally wasted in cabbing. For 9 slabs of of average material, with lots of scratches and chips, I think you are looking at $35 tops. Should be lower if sold on a board where it is free to list and members often give each other discounts. Another metric might be weight. How much does the total lot weigh? Mixed slabs often go in the $5-$6/lb range. Sometimes small slabbets and trimmings form high-end cab production can go for $8/lb. These are bigger, but not high-end. If offered on a board like RTH, I think $5/lb should be max price. Some folks here have offered MFRB with dozens of slabs for less per pound.

1 Sowbelly Amethyst Lace 2 jade or serpentine 3 India fancy jasper* 4 India fancy jasper* 5 India fancy jasper* * there is some orbicular pattern in these that make me think ocean jasper is also a possibility. 6 Chrysocholla 7 amethyst sage 8 mahogany obsidian 9 rainbow obsidian
if the chrysocholla is stable, it's probably the most valuable slab in this group.

The 1st is Luna Agate from New Mexico. Sowbelly doesn't do poppy eyes like this slab does.
The 2nd I think is a slice of Washington Jade. Not striated enough to be serpentine, imo. I agree the with Don on the rest. C-ya, Rick

The fancy jaspers are pretty nice, they seem solid and have good color, I'm not 100% convinced on the chrysocolla because of the lighting but it is the most likely candidate short of seeing them wet in direct sunlight.
I've been buying slabs a lot this year, and a lot very recently. Because of the mixed bag I'd say $20 is a pretty sure deal, but you can see if you have any bites at $30 and it wouldn't be unreasonable. It's a lot easier to lower a price than it is to raise it.
Just my $0.02
