I finally sliced a little pietersite today. The rock was too big to fit the way I was planning on cutting it so I had to turn it sideways to slice a bit off so it could fit the other way. After a couple slices, I kind of think I like it better this way. I think I will get another slice before turning the other way and seeing if I want to cut it that way, as planned. Dry Wet Fran

That orientation looks really good to me. If the other direction is better you are going to have a killer batch of slabs!

if the blend of color is even close to the slabs you have now, slicing it the other way is gonna be killer!!

Hi Slamberrx,
I don't sell slabs in general. I find something cool and I slice it up for my own use. That is not to say that I don't make surprise gifts to folks, it is just a here and there thing. I hope you were able to find some material. It is hard to come across any good stuff anymore here for a reasonable price. Fran
