Pretty stuff! That Lysiteis is nice. I didn't know there was red in Lysite. All of mine is blues and cream colored. I'm thinkin that last pic is a future cab shot. Really nice

It may be. I need to treat so the thin cracks seen on the dry shot doe nto give me rubble instead of a nice chunk, but I think this will be cut someday. (But, I have had it since 2004).

I have Hyxtal, but want to play with some epoxy & acetone, and also water glass w/ the recipe Jamie posted years back.
The plan it to try all 3, maybe all 4 if I get some Bond Optic, side by side on some inexpensive rough - maybe on some AZ pet wood. Then, I can treat the things waiting in line.

Very cool! You could blow up and frame that last lysite closeup. It's like some wild modern art painting. Last time I visited thew High Desert Museum in Oregon, they had a display of rock pics that were greatly enlarged and they were quite remarkable. Mother nature paints some super cool pictures.....Mel

The butterfly and prudent man are tops to me. Love the eye in the lysite.

Nice bunch of slabs and rough. I've always liked the prudent man material, it makes killer cabs.

Very nice. I've got a question for you. Where do you get your butterfly wing? I had some from a trade years ago but I've used it all. Seems to be pretty tough to find nowadays.

Really neat!! The unknown slab looks like koi jasper because of the gold speckles and red. I just got some and it's the same colors:).

My color saturation on the photo seems a bit higher because of my lighting, and all that gold speckling could just be because they are all sliced from the same rock maybe, but they look similar. Especially with your red speckling at the bottom near the black part:).

yours is certainly koi, but it has translucent parts, distinctive red jasper chunks in agate, and the dark areas with distinctive hematite blueness.
visually the two are very different in my eyes.
