Here is a piece of Mt. St. Helens jasper I found last week. It was just so unusual to find this piece in the carnelian agate area that I had to post it. Its pretty small - only about 4 inches long. I think I can get a couple of good cabs out of it. The top piece is the heel and the bottom piece is a slab. The brown line in the slab along the bottom is a fracture, but the rest is all solid with no pits. I like the lines in the light yellow part. Dry: Wet:
